On Wednesday, April 24 2024, De Britto International Youth Camp participants began to arrive from various countries.  participants who had just arrived at Yogyakarta International Airport were warmly welcomed by De Britto College. The students and teachers welcomed each participant with smiles and hugs. They were wearing the infamous batik to show the uniqueness of the host national traditional culture.

“This is a very special moment for us because we can be part of this big event and welcome the participants who came from various countries,” said Rapha, a student of De Britto College who was participating in welcoming the participators.

Upon their arrival, the participants eagerly anticipated the experiences they would have during De Britto International Youth Camp 2024.

“I feel very excited because this is my first time coming to Indonesia and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. Even though the 4-hour trip was very tiring, I’m still excited for things to come,” said Gio Miguel, one of the participants from Sacred Heart of Cebu High School, Philippines.

The participants who came were greeted by De Britto College and then guided by the committee to the transportation that had been provided to take them to their respective hotel. The series of events that day ended with dinner in the De Britto College’s hall.
